Let’s apply Henna on your hair at home!

GREEN NOTE’s Henna not only dyes your hair healthily, but it also repairs your damaged hair with its herbal power.
Let’s apply Henna as hair pack while relaxing.
* Before using henna to dye your hair, make sure you conduct a patch test.

Items you need

・GREEN NOTE henna　 ・Gloves included in the kit
・Warm water ・Bowl ・Whisk ・Hair dye brush
・One long chopstick　 ・Towl or Cape ・Plastic wrap
・Shower cap

Exposure time If you rest the henna paste for 12 hours at room temperature for dye release half a day before, you may reduce the exposure time to 30~40 min. within 60～75 min. More than 45 min. More than 75 min.～180 min. More than 60 min.
* If this is your first time using henna or in case you have very thick hair, please use generous amount of powder and leave the paste for longer than instructions.

Five hair color tips and tricks for achieving optimum results.

  1. Use a large amount of powder for application.
  2. Add warm water until a consistency, similar to ketchup is achieved.
  3. Divide your hair into small sections with one chopstick.
  4. Apply generous amount of paste until each section is thickly coated.
  5. Leave it on as instructed.

HOW TO USE

    1. Mix the powder with warm water

    Make Henna Paste by adding warm water little by little, until the consistency of mixture is same as ketchup.
    The key point is to get a "ketchup like" consistency.
    Thick consistency will not give you the color results you want, If the paste is too thick, add more water to fix.

    2. Section your hair before hair coloring

    Part dry hair from the front toward the crown of the head straightly.
    Using a long chopstick will make it easy to slice your hair.

    The color will not come out if you only.

    3. Apply a generous amount of henna on your hair.

    When applying dark colored henna, make sure to apply sufficient paste only on your scalp and gray hair.
    <Around two tablespoons of henna on a part.>

    In the case of applying Orange Brown or Bitter Orange, you can rub henna paste on your scalp with your fingers.

    Repeat step 2 and 3

    Divide hair into small sections, about 1/2 inch in thickness, then apply repeatedly the mixture on your scalp and hair.

    How to color hair on the back of the head.

    Applying the paste to the hard-to-reach-areas can be daunting.To make this step easier for you,divide hair horizontally, then apply the paste from top to bottom. After dyeing your hair, secure them with a clip. Using clips makes it easy for you to work section by section.

    4. Wrap plastic wrap and a towel around your head.

    After you've applied the paste, cover your hair with plastic wrap, then wrap the towel around your hairline to prevent henna paste from staining the skin. Put a shower cap on it.

    5.Leave the paste for dye release as instructed.

    After leaving it on as directed, rinse the paste with warm water and wash your hair with shampoo.

    Attention! Greenish cast after dyeing

    Occasionally your hair turns green right after dyeing.
    This is due to the special characteristic of dyeing process of dyes of plant sources.
    Dye will “develop” two to three days, and after that process comes out a rich brown.
